It will be musical theatre magic this March as Holy Heart High School brings you an exciting twist on the classic tale of an aging toymaker and his puppet, Pinocchio. It’s the heart- warming story you love, but with action-packed adventure and a compelling score of music by Grammy Award Winner Stephen Schwartz, that include the beloved classics, “When You Wish Upon A Star” and “I’ve Got No Strings”.
Following last year’s hit production of “Willy Wonka”, the students of Holy Heart are very excited to present Disney’s My Son Pinocchio- Geppetto’s Musical Tale. Join the Blue Fairy, Stromboli and a lively cast of characters as Geppetto journeys beyond the Toy Shop to discover what makes the "perfect child." Audiences will love following Pinocchio's journey from an awkward wooden puppet to a real, live boy and will be charmed by Geppetto's transformation from demanding creator to a real, live father.
Featuring Simon Alteen as Gepetto, Brianna Gosse as The Blue Fairy and introducing Jordan Steinhauer as Pinocchio. The production is under the direction of John Rao, with vocal direction by Susan Quinn, orchestral direction by Grant Etchegary and dance choreorgraphy by Melissa Maynard Power.
This family musical is appropriate for audiences of all ages. The show runs from March 22-24th at 7:30 pm, with a school matinee on the 23rd at 9:30 am, and a family matinee on the 24th at 2:00pm.
